Since its October unveiling, Xiaomi’s HyperOS skin has functioned as an advancement over the company’s MIUI 14 Android veneer.
The epidermis has already been made available in China, but the manufacturer has now disclosed information regarding its global release.
Xiaomi confirmed on its MIUI account on X that a variety of Xiaomi and Redmi devices would receive HyperOS in the first quarter of 2024.
Please refer to the summary provided below.
Devices Getting HyperOS in Q1 2024
- Xiaomi 13
- Xiaomi 13 Pro
- Xiaomi 13 Ultra
- Xiaomi 13T
- Xiaomi 13T Pro
- Redmi Note 12
- Redmi Note 12S
- Xiaomi Pad 6
However, what about POCO phones?
The POCO Global account on X, however, has verified that the POCO F5 will be the initial POCO handset to receive HyperOS.
Although the post appears to indicate that the release is imminent, no specific launch window was provided.
In addition, POCO stated that release information for additional devices would be disclosed at a later date.
It appears that proprietors of older Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO smartphones will have to patiently await the release of HyperOS on their devices.
These proprietors will hopefully no longer be anticipating this iteration of HyperOS when the subsequent Android version is unveiled.
However, individuals who have an interest in conducting unauthorized modifications such as tinkering with custom ROMs and other underlying adjustments may wish to delay the upgrade process for the time being.
