What are the advantages and disadvantages of Realme X that makes it interesting? This Oppo sub-brand is intensively bringing new smartphones to the world. Realme X as one of its flagship smartphones.

Since the smartphone is the highest series of Realme, there are many advantages of Realme X that make it attractive compared to its competitors. One of which is the hardware specification.

Realme X carries the slogan “Dare to Leap” which adopts features that exist on the flagship device. One of them is an increase in the cameras setup. The use of Sony IMX 586 sensors and camera pop ups empowers the attractiveness of Realme X.

Recently, the device gets its first custom recovery. Thanks to the unofficial TWRP build by Mauronofrio.

This TWRP is compatible and it work well on the Realme X. Most of favorite TWRP features work just fine including automatic partition decryption, USB OTG, Backups, Flashing, and SDCards mounting.

What is TWRP? It is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able.

How to flash TWRP?

  1. Unlock bootloader
  2. Install ADB USB driver
  3. Download the TWRP img file.
  4. Reboot into bootloader mode
  5. Connect to computer
  6. Type and execute this command:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-9-RMX1901-mauronofrio.img

Once flashed, reboot the phone to TWRP manually using buttons combo: Volume Up and Power buttons.
